Great book!
This is a great first book for younger students. They love the writing/coloring exercises, but also getting their hands on the keyboard to play some actual songs!

The Very Young Pianist - Book 1
I couldn't be more pleased with this teaching technique but I'm even more pleased with my students' (ages 5-7) desire to progress to each new unit.
