This is a wonderfully arranged piano solo collection of Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts themes. For a vocal coach, it's important to note these are full piano solo arrangements without lyrics. While excellent for personal study of the jazz harmonies and voicings, it's not designed for direct vocal accompaniment. The Intermediate texture offers rich support and is perfect for understanding the nuances of Guaraldi's style.

I am enjoying playing the Peanuts Illustrated Songbook, it brings back memories of watching the Charilie Brown seasonal specials. If you are a Peanuts fan, you will enjoy purchasing this book.

Most of the songs are good arrangements, but the version of Linus and Lucy is missing the middle boss nova part. Luckily I have the seperate sheet music with the complete version in it.

I don't have this book yet, but I was wondering if it had the entire version of Linus and Lucy. I purchased the Charlie Brown Collection only to discover the 1st solo part was ommitted and went straight to the swing part.
