Note from the Arranger
Just looking at the review immediately below. The original orchestral recording does have a G#, creating an A7 chord. However, it did not sound right to me in the piano arrangement, so I left it as a G natural (though I got one complaint about it not being authentic). I still stand by my decision to leave out the clashing sounding chord. The G# was never in the piano arrangement and has since been removed from the string quartet arrangement.

The Ludlows - careful: some wrong chords
I was grateful to find this, both as a piano solo and also arranged for string quartet. I read on the arranger's blog how she listened to the soundtrack repeatedly to get the transcription, and it's OK in the Twilight and Mist section (opening and closing) but she seems to have an aversion to F# minor chords, which are essential in the Ludlow's section. So when our professional quartet first read it at a gig, it was like oops, sorry - that didn't sound right! - the mistakes are in the viola part, as well in the piano arrangement, starting on the 2nd measure of the Ludlow's Theme (letter A) where it should be a F# minor chord - there's NO G# in that measure , or shouldn't be. It's jarring enough to make you wince. So just correct those sections and it's fine.

I Love It!
I was in love with this song when I was a teenager and never could find it and was happy when I found it here. I was a little rusty with the piano from not playing in years but this song was very easy to learn.
