A Deeper Look at the Bass Foundation
While primarily for bass guitarists, this book provides a comprehensive understanding of country bass lines. For a collaborative musician, understanding the harmonic and rhythmic foundation the bass provides is crucial. The insights into studio playing and the Nashville Number System are excellent for appreciating how the bass supports the entire ensemble, which in turn elevates any vocal or lead instrument.

Great for electric or upright players!

I appreciate the inclusion of the Nashville Number System for quick chart reading. The online audio with full band backing is a huge plus for practice and internalizing grooves.
