With years of experience teaching piano, Misty L. Misty began composing simple songs to slowly introduce the notes one at a time and make the process less stressful for her students.

Misty decided to compile these songs into a book, which she used in her studio for years and continued to tweak until she was satisfied with the results.

The I Can Learn Music Book, Volume 1, introduces the notes of the C Major position in both the treble and bass clefs, using simple, singable songs, as well as written exercises to reinforce theory. This book is ideal for young students or those who are struggling with learning the staff. Best used as supplemental books, The I Can Learn Music Books reinforce concepts taught in the students' lesson books. Upon completion of Volume 1, Volume 2, introduces the other notes on the staff and playing in various hand positions.
