dissatisfied

The quality of the songs is category A1, anything by Liszt goes to the kernel of the text and he can describe things no other composer is capable of, compare his songs with other composers that have set the same text and Liszt wins every time. However, Liszt is not at issue here, what is disappointing is that this edition describes itself as high and I possess the low edition, needing the high edition for a soprano I ordered it and to my utter astonishment and disappointment the particular song I wanted was in the same key in both editions, hardly a high and low edition. On contacting the publisher I received no answer as to why this form of rip-off was permitted. I can only advise prospective buyers online to first check whether the high or low edition is in fact that, otherwise you may end up with two identical editions unnecessarily bought under the imperession that they would be different.
