As heard in other versions of this classic holiday song, the piano primo part includes many embellishments which would be heard in the strings, winds, and glockenspiel. The melody is passed back and forth between piano primo and piano secondo, and inner voices often harmonize. This is the perfect piece for refining technical aspects such as playing scales in thirds and sixths, bringing out a left hand melody, and simple left hand stride. Silver Bells makes an excellent addition to any holiday concert repertoire! The PDF download contains both a full score and a set of individual parts - Piano Primo and Piano Secondo.
