Of all my Christmas piano arrangements, this has been my most favorite one to play - as well as the most requested. The melody is played in both hands an octave apart on the upper part of the piano, and then echo each other in the first half of the piece. When played correctly and deliberately (no hurry), the effect will astound audiences! Pedal is used throughout to capture the ethereal beauty of the carol. Very appropriate for a Christmas Eve service or a Holiday piano recital.
