El 19 de abril de 1994, Ricardo Arjona publicó su quinto disco de estudio. Tenía treinta años (los había cumplido tres meses antes) y varias historias que quería compartir con su público. Se estrenaba como treintañero y sostenía aún esa fascinación por las mujeres más grandes. Por eso escribió “Señora, no le quite años a su vida, póngale vida a los años, que es mejor”. También se puso en la piel de un taxista que “quería seducir a la vida”. Esa historia de un ganador-perdedor que, por aquellos años, captaba más y más voluntades femeninas para la audiencia de Arjona. Aquel disco, Historias, que hoy cumple 30 años, hizo que la carrera de Arjona diera un salto.
