Scott the piano guy Favorite Fake Book
I was always interested in trying fake books, but too busy with other things and feared my chord sophistication not up to the task, but a right hand finger injury prohibited my playing the usual classical chestnuts and Cocktail Piano (another great book, btw). This is a great introduction to fake book usage, with interesting simple yet adequate arrangements, useful chord diagrams were initially helpful but soon superfluous. For a tentative player, this is a great way to start, and within days one is already confident enough to start breaking chords and improvising as one begins to feel the music. I have since confidently gone on to other fake books, something might never have tried.
