Flor: Scales for the Violin (1st position)
Great book at a great price from sheet music plus. An apparent classic. I just got this for my daughter (who has nearly completed Suzuki book 4) and she is getting a lot out of it. Includes 24 major and minor scales plus arpeggios. Fundamental and essential. Scales are not difficult but must be learned. Probably also improves sight reading. I have not looked at other violin scale books. My daughter's teacher instructed us to get this book.

Great Way to Learn all Scales
My son used this. It was a good way for him to learn all the scales. I would highly recommend it. The variations of the scales such as the arpeggios helped reinforec the scale.
