B - Two separate manuscript parts: 1er dessus - continuo bass. C - Sonata del Signor Rebel (manuscript in full score). Presentation by Catherine Cessac : Bibliography Titles of pieces. Sonates, edition de Ballard, 1712. Several pieces bear no indication of movement. All the period material has been reproduced here. The introduction is by Catherine Cessac, specialist and author of a book on Rebel. These works are quite remarkable. Receuil de douze sonates...

Excellent scholarship. Facsimile edition performers' parts and score from early published edition plus manuscript fair copy. Not for people unfamiliar with older notation or clefs on unusual lines.
