easy and confidence-building
I took piano lessons all through school through grade 12. I'm good, but not great. I can accompany soloists and have played for church singing. I haven't played much for years. When I got a piano recently, I needed music so I came to this site. I travel for work, so I like that it is digital. The pieces in Quietudes for Piano are relatively easy. They are like simple etudes. I got through the first one - in the key of C - easily. I plan to work towards memorizing it. As I looked at others, I realized they are all very similar. So having gotten the first one in my head, I found myself wanting to play the same thing in the other keys - but they are different ... oh, so slightly. They are great pieces to ease myself back into piano playing after not having my sheet music available for many years. I think I will play pieces that correspond to the key of the classical piece I am working on as I build my repertoire and my confidence again.

Easy Playing and Listening
I haven't played the piano for over 20 years. Recently, I decided to try again and purchased a used one. I'm not a master pianist by any means. This selection allowed me to comfortably ease back in to playing. Very nice collection.

I agree with Susan. I enjoy playing it myself, very relaxing. Good experience for my students, playing in all the key signatures.

Great Book and Resource
Love this book of quiet piano compositions and what a great resource for students to gain experience playing in every major key.
