I wanted to write a composition that started with a simple chord. As the march progresses I added a mote here and there. Each note added continues until a complete musical composition is formed. But it doesn't stop there. Once the composition is formed it progresses to a solemn, smooth 5/4 section. This section then breaks apart to where each instrument has a solo.
