Johnson, College of Music, Michigan State University, this wonderful example of Baroque style fugal/canonic writing is taken from the Eight Short Preludes & Fugue (BMV 553-560), long attibuted to Johann Sebastian Bach. The fifth in the series, it was originally in the key of g minor.
This work would be a wonderful piece for concert or contest.
