Good practice
Good songs to practice with but some arangements lacked the canadian brass flair. The supporting acompanyment had with and without the trumpet part and they worked well.

This Play Along Series is Tops!
This series of quintet books are excellent, the best I have ever purchased for our new group. Learning to play these intermediate songs will take you to the next level. Canadian Brass also did not do a lot of duplicating music from other book series, like they ususally do. The CD play- along is also terrific. My only complaint is that there is no warning when the music is about to start for the full instrument track. They did insert some clicking beats for the part with your instrument missing. The first trumpet book is the hardest, but ALL instruments get to be the lead throughout the songs.
