Thrilling Fun for Any Band Member!
I absolutely love playing this Pirates of the Caribbean Symphonic Suite! As an adult concert band member, tackling a Grade 4 piece felt like a rewarding challenge. John Wasson's arrangement of Klaus Badelt's themes is so dynamic and truly sounds like the thrilling movie soundtrack. It brings so much energy and enjoyment to our rehearsals, making every practice session feel epic. Highly recommend for pure fun!

Excellent Choice for Developing Bands!
This Grade 4 Symphonic Suite is fantastic for developing concert bands. John Wasson's arrangement maintains the original film's excitement, offering interesting, well-engraved parts for all sections. It’s excellent for teaching rhythmic precision and expressive ensemble playing, fostering strong musicality. While some brass parts are challenging, it's a truly rewarding piece for advanced high school or university ensembles looking to tackle dramatic repertoire.

Brilliant piece, challenging in places
This piece is very good for any band who have a lot of energy as it needs a spirited performance. The part writing is very good and interesting parts and rhythms are in all the parts. However, the tumpet parts are tricky as they go very high in the register, so I wouldn't recommend this for a band with less able trumpeters. I run a band in a university and we have to play this every year as it is by far our most popular piece.

im in the 7th grade our band just got this music its very fun to play, a little challenging but defently my favorite piece of music of this year.
