Fantastic Resource - Fairly Price
This edition of Beethoven's piano sonatas contains excellent choices in fingering patterns and is easily legible, well-printed, not too bulky for what it contains, and easy to place and keep on the piano while reading/playing along. I'm very satisfied with this purchase all around.

Excellent
For the price, this is an awesome deal. Print is pretty clear, paper is great, and its an urtext edition. Sometimes the editors suggestions (in brackets) crowd the page a bit too much and the binding/cover pages dont seem particularly durable. Regardless, this is still a gem for any money-saving student.

Knowledgeable Edition
Arau is a wonderful pianist, especially for the Beethoven Sonatas, and he is a superior editor for them as well. This is an urtext edition, meaning the editor has avoided adding phrasings, articulations, and dynamic markings not put their by the composer. Some urtexts are ridiculously expensive; this one is quite a bit more reasonable. The fingering is good and the text is clear. My only negative is that pages occasionally come loose from the binding.I do recommend looking at Henle, Schirmer's urtext, Kalmus, and Vienna Urtext as well. One will find this edition to be in the middle price wise, and near the top quality wise. It is a very good choice.
