Muzio Clementi's Piano Sonata in B-Flat Major, Op. 24 No. 2, was composed in 1781. It's best known as the inspiration for the Overture to W. A. Mozart's opera Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), as Mozart "borrowed" the principle theme from the first movement of this sonata. Keeping this in mind, in this arrangement, the extended cadenza in the first movement is a medley of four themes from Die Zauberflöte: the Overture, "Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja," "Marsch der Priester," and "Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen.".
