A collection of five of my settings of African American Spirituals, rearranged for piano trio. There are titles appropriate for different seasons in the church year, including Christmas, as well as for general concert use. The titles are Go Down, Moses, Rise Up, Shepherd, Tell It On The Mountain, Calvary, Sinner, Please Don't Let This Harvest Pass and Oh Glory! For advanced intermediate to more advanced performers, the styles are influenced by Traditional, Jazz and Gospel interpretations. The violin and cello parts are appended to the full score; the audio sample is of Go Down, Moses. This is my second collection of sacred arrangements for piano trio - see also How Sweet The Sound!
