The titles are Meditation On Take My Life And Let It Be, I Surrender All, Come, All Christians, Be Committed, The God Of Abraham Praise, From Every Stormy Wind That Blows, Jesus, Lover Of My Soul and Brother James's Air. The violin parts are appended to the full score, and a recording of the first hymn is provided. The arrangements are suitable for church preludes or offertories, and also for recitals. Beautiful Arrangements
I purchased this book for church use. I have only recently purchased the book and have played 1 solo in church. I played Brother James' Air. This was a beautiful arrangement and interesting to play as a soloist. The pieces do require the soloist to be familiar with 3rd, 4th, and 5th positions on violin. There are some interesting rhythms, too, but none of the rhythms are overly difficult. I am excited to look into the other arrangements.
