Pure Joy Playing Classic Motown Hits!
As an adult learner, I absolutely love this Motown Forever collection! Larry Moore's arrangements of 'Stop! In The Name Of Love' and 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine' sound so authentic and are incredibly fun to play with my community orchestra. The Grade 3-4 level is challenging enough to feel rewarding but totally achievable, making practice truly enjoyable. It's such a blast to bring these R&B classics to life!

Supportive Piano Part for String Ensemble
For a collaborative pianist, the included piano part in this 'Motown Forever' string orchestra set is very well-integrated. It provides a solid rhythmic and harmonic foundation, contributing perfectly to the classic R&B texture without overshadowing the strings. Excellent Repertoire for School Orchestras
Larry Moore's 'Motown Forever' is fantastic for school string orchestras! The Grade 3-4 difficulty is perfectly accessible for intermediate students, and the clear engraving by Hal Leonard ensures easy reading. It's a superb tool for teaching ensemble rhythm and articulation with fun, recognizable Motown hits. My students absolutely love playing these iconic tunes like 'My Girl' and 'I'll Be There'.
