Like Quiet Rivers is a one act Musical Play about seven senior citizens having High Tea. Each senior tells their story. Additionally, there is a facilitator and a server who have stories as well. The piece is about 65 minutes and includes 12 musical numbers plus dialogue. The orchestra includes a non-speaking onstage HARPIST. The rest of the band is hidden behind a screen and includes FLUTE, OBOE, CLARINET in Eb, and cello. The play can be purchased separately.
They Ask For Their Glasses is sung by the facilitator (Kelly - soprano) and the full orchestra. It is a light hearted - almost "circus like" - number that she sings to the server (Ricky) before the seniors arrive.
