This concert band arrangement of Elgar's March No.1 was written for the Uraidla Concert Band's "Last Night of the Proms" concert with the opportunity for our steadfast followers to join in and sing the famous Land of Hope and Glory trio! This version presents more of the first two strains of the original march than most other arrangements. A patriotic English perennial, the piece would be a great concert opener or closer and it is also useful for graduation ceremonies. Some parts are challenging at tempo. Easier parts are provided for Flute 3, Alto Sax 3, Tuba Alt. and Bass Guitar. There are also parts for Euphonium TC and Bb Bass T.C. and a combined Drums and Cymbals part if you are short on percussionists. Duration is 2' 50". I hope you enjoy!
