Lament is a Jazz Standard by JJ Johnson. Pat Martino recorded it on the 1976 album "We'll Be Together Again" featuring Gil Goldstein on Fender Rhodes electric piano. This instrument was used because the piano that was in the studio was out of tune. The duo revisited this instrumentation for Warner Japan on the 2012 album "We Are Together Again".
