A practical volume that can be used by instrumental and vocal teachers who want their students to know some of the essentials of harmony, but who haven't the time to teach it as a separate subject. Thus, a piano teacher, for example, can teach harmony in conjunction with the regular piano lesson. At the end of Book 2, students will be able to harmonize melodies using a variety of harmonic accompaniment patterns. Also included are exercises in transposition and composition.

Harmony Lessons Book 2
Great book to supplement whatever your regular theory book happens to be. I use these along with theory for my second year students, although I have had a couple of first year students who were older, who went through the theory series I use so quickly that I also used these books to supplement. I use Fundamentals of Piano Theory by Keith Snell as my usual theory series. By the end of the prep book they are doing simple transposing, so these books give them more practice and more instruction in what it all means. Students will be in book 2 or beyond by year 2 with regular lessons.Good time to start.

Harmon Lesson book 2
Only for the advanced students....pre- college theory. I only use it with advanced.
