Today the chorus of "Happy Days are Here Again," is performed without the verses as is the case with many popular tunes. Lyrics are provided above the treble staff for pianists that might like to sing along while they play. This tune comes from a depression-era-musical entitled "Chasing Rainbows," and became later known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt's campaign song in 1938. In both cases the tune was a symbol of hope for positive change.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
