The Half Filled Cookie Jar
These delightful pieces can be performed by multiple students each reading the poem that goes with the piece and serving the cookies that are named. Students and parents love it!

Half-Filled Cookie Jar
A great suite with speaking parts for children all ages. It takes 6 to 7 people to put on the whole suite. The composer thought ahead, the 5 Solos can be played individually. I use this suite about every five years in my May recital.

This beginners Suite mimics the sounds of the Nutcracker Suite, telling the story of cookies escaping the cookie jar and getting back before they are noticed. It's incredibly cute. My intermediate students enjoyed playing it as well. It's a piece you can build a recital around if there aren't many students involved. This year I'm collaborating with a dance company to make a show of it.
