Good set of technical exercises

I enjoyed this book. There were 5 sets of 12 exercises each. I am using this book to return to piano playing after many years . Most of the exercises were easy but a few in each set took longer. There are octave reaches and hand movement in this book which makes it more difficult than others listed as preparatory. The line drawings which accompany each exercise are entertaining but not distracting.

Excellent technical method

Always use this for my beginner students to develop their technical ability. They thoroughly love progressing through these exercises and can't wait to learn more!

Good start for Technique

I used Dozen A Day as a young student, and love the series for my students as well. It is a good introduction to piano technique.

This is an excellent preparatory book for adults. It is easy for the beginner whose hands can play the C major chord. I highly recommend it.
