Love these books
I just started book book 2 and I have been very happy w/ the Hal Leonard products. I especially like the online audio play along. The books are easy to understand and as long as you are putting in the time, you will improve. You might drive your family nuts after they are forced to listen to you play shift crazy blues 50x a day, but it's the only way to get better! I also appreciate when I call the 800 number a real live human being picks up the phone! The staff is very helpful.

Hal leonard Bass Method Book 2
This is really a very good bass method for beginners. I have purchased both Book 1 and 2. The book brings a lot of sheet music and we can practice playing along with the CD that comes with the book.
