Fun & Fast Way to Play Guitar!
I picked up the guitar recently, and this FastTrack Book 1 has been a blast! The 'teach yourself' approach with digital audio made learning chords and riffs in rock and blues styles so enjoyable. Disappointing
The book was not what I expected. It did not have enough basic chords for a beginner to get started. I returned it.

Fast way to play
I thought this book was great! I learned a lot in a short time and it was easier than I thought it would be. The explanations were good and I could play along with the CD. At the end, the jam sessions were cool and I couldn't believe I was playing at this level! I'm going on to book 2 for sure.

FastTrack Guitar Method - Book 1
I'm glad to see so many people reacting positively to this Method Book. Those not doing so probably left out one essential musical element: Practice. As the author of my own guitar method book, all I can say is Play On you guitarists!

Extremely easy to get through!
This book was just awesome. I never picked up a guitar before and within about three weeks I had accomplished all the book had to teach me and was on to Level 2. If you practice with this book even for a few minutes every day, you will be amazed at how quickly you're playing tunes and chords.
