Solid Selection for Country Gigs
A practical collection of country standards for violin/fiddle players. The arrangements are reliable for quick learning before a gig, and the included melody and lyrics are helpful cues. The online backing tracks are a great practice tool. My only minor note is wishing for more extensive variations on some tunes, but for core country hits like 'Friends in Low Places,' it gets the job done reliably.

So Much Fun Playing My Favorite Country Tunes!
As an adult learner, this 'Country Hits' book is exactly what I needed! It's so enjoyable to play recognizable songs like 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' and 'Wide Open Spaces.' Excellent book!
Being a gigging violinist, and some time fiddler, I need a broad repertoire and this book filled some holes in my list. The parts are spot on. My only disappointment is they left out the second solo of 'Chattahoochee'. But all in all, a great help. Where are the other volumes?!
