Vivaldi composed his only Concert for 2 Trumpets possibly in the 1720s in Venice. The original is set for 2 natural trumpets, strings and Basso continuo. This arrangement was written and first time performed by the Municipal Band of Zirl, Austria conducted by the arranger in November 2013 and repeated by the academy orchestra of Mozarteum Wind Philharmonic Salzburg, also conducted by Albert Schwarzmann at a concert at Mozarteum University in Salzburg in October 2016.
