SKU: KN.3400

Composed by Bob Mintzer. This edition: Unbound. Jazz Summit Series. Funk. Set of parts. Duration 9 minutes, 20 seconds. Kendor Music Inc #3400. Published by Kendor Music Inc (KN.3400).

UPC: 822795034004. 9 x 12 inches. English.

As recorded by the Bob Mintzer Big Band on Incredible Journey, a recurring melodic motif, driving funk groove, and fully-voiced harmonic landscape give this chart real substance and audience appeal. Solos are assigned to alto and tenor sax, and paying very careful attention to articulations throughout will yield best results. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued. Duration 9:20.

Way too much fun
This piece is great. It is a lot of fun to play and can be seemingly simple but requires some serious counting and engagement with the entire ensemble. I would seriously recommend this for any decent high school group or college group. I had the pleasure of playing this in high school and college.
