Excellent Resource for Aspiring Guitarists

Fun Way to Play My Favorite Songs!
I absolutely love this Christian Rock Guitar Play-Along book! It's so much fun to finally learn to play songs like 'We Are One Tonight' and 'Strong Tower' by Flyleaf and Switchfoot. The tablature is easy to follow, and the CD lets me play along with backing tracks. Being able to slow down the tempo without changing pitch is a game-changer for a casual player like me. Highly recommend for enjoyment!

Valuable for Vocal Reference, Mindful of Instrument
While this book is primarily for guitarists, I found the included melody and lyrics incredibly helpful for coaching singers on these popular Christian rock tunes. It provides a clear vocal line to work from, and listening to the CD gives good insight into the original guitar arrangements. Just remember it's guitar tablature, so a separate piano accompaniment would be needed for a vocalist.
