It has a lovely glissando leading up to the climax of the piece… a moment of drama! The left hand has lovely broken chords which give it that steady accompaniment that we’re used to hearing from Elvis’ recordings.
Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Late-Intermediate: There are quick-moving notes and two-note chords intersperse in the right hand to make a full sound. The left hand includes 4-2-1 patterns. There are rolled chords with three notes in each hand. It includes a glissando, complex overlapping brackets and four lever changes (planned so that you can change them when the left hand is free).
Type of Harp: 33 string harp (C to G) and anything larger.
Range: Lowest note is D, just less than two octaves below middle C. Highest note is F, two and a bit octaves middle C.
Levers/Pedals: The piece is in the key of D major (F and C levers set). 4 lever changes are included (G#).
