Fun
I love playing with a CD/background accompaniment, so this was right up my alley. It is the 1st collection I own with the easy jazzy feel to it (P.S. for you flute players who don't care for that free jazz form, this is perfect!) and I will be purchasing more. The CD has a demonstration track and accompaniment track; all is easily accessible...should definitely be part of a flutist's library.

My Favorite
This book and the Gershwin book are the best flute and accompaniment books of all time. I have many others, but these are the best. There is no melody line to get in your way in the performance acc.The acc. itself is fantastic and the variations are totally written out so you know what to do and still sound improvised. I wish Special Arrangement would put out some more books. they know how to do it.
