Consuelo Velázquez Torres also popularly known as Consuelito
Velázquez, was a Mexican concert pianist and composer. She was
the composer of famous Mexican ballads such as "Bésame mucho",
"Amar y vivir", and "Cachito".
For three years from 1979 she was also a politician – a member of the
Chamber of Deputies of the Mexican Congress.
Arranged here for clarinet quintet, or four clarinets and bass clarinet.
