this is a special book for me
I first encountered Alfred editions, and in particular this one, back in 1986. It had a far different cover then, but thankfully the selections and the sensitive and accurate editing have remained intact. These pieces are not all easy! This is for intermediate students and above... much-loved and enjoyed pieces that you will surely find in other anthologies, but I really like Alfred's presentation. It's reasonably priced, too!
