What happened to the horn ensemble?
The Band of Brothers theme was written as a hymn to composer Michael kamen`s uncle, who was killed in action at Ramagen three days before Germany fell. It starts out featuring a horn ensemlle. This is a solemn, majestic theme that is one of the most simple,beautiful melodies ever written. This arrangement starts with over 45 measures of filler instead of the theme. And to make it worse, it make the french horn part a solo, leaving out the rich Alpine harmony. Very disappointing.
