Bagatells for piano
Anthony Giamanco, is a world-class composer that is also a lifelong friend and colleague. He was also a professor of mime in my apprentice years in Schenkerian analysis, counterpoint and harmony. His work in composition then was that of an exceptional composer that was forward thinking and yet deeply rooted in tradition.This work was written with the idea that I would give the premier and I am thrilled to be doing this honor. It is epoch a must learn. Be prepared to work its not for the faint of heart and should and I presume be a staple in the piano literature for generations to come!
