Bach: Wachet Auf (Sleepers Wake) from Cantata 140
I specifically bought this transcription to improve on other Wachet Auf versions that our quintet owns. I wanted the whole group's input with melodic lines, as opposed to heavy lifting by a single player from beginning to end. This version does that, you just need to work on pasting the lines together. The horn part is probably the most challenging and the tuba needs a good upper range. Overall, it's serving our purpose well.

In response to review I have changed status to advanced: it was only 2 bars in the whole piece that were high and marked pp!Score now amended with 8va lines.

Trumpet parts are ambitious
Trumpet parts are very ambitious at times having them play above the staff at P and MP dynamics. Extremely difficult to do, even by professionals.
