Great Piece for College Students
I teach clarinet and coach wind quintets at a university, and I have taught the same quintets year after year, so it is nice to have something different. This transcription is so well done that if I didn't already know the piece, I might have thought Beethoven originally wrote it for wind quintet. It has some challenging parts technically as well as balance-wise, so it is a great teaching tool. It is appropriate for collegiate-level study, or for more advanced high school students. It is very pleasing to listen to, and makes great concert programming. Our faculty quintet has also played it for background music at a dinner party.

Great transcription!
I love Beethoven, and I love wind quintet music so this is perfect! I have played this piece on piano before, and I love the melody. I play clarinet in a wind quintet. I like the way the arranger moves the melody around between the different voices. We have fun playing this piece.
