Delightful audio
I was brought up on Dozen a Day and have used it for years with my students. When the audio came out, I purchased Book 2. I was skeptical at first. But my students and I have enjoyed the accompaniment tracks greatly. The arrangements are quite imaginative and upbeat, and the tempos aren't too fast. My students have come to enjoy the reading as well as well as the technical aspects of the exercises by using these tracks. I think I've enjoyed the audio even more than they do!

More fun - better than a metronome
Many of my students enjoy playing along with the CD and it helps them keep a steady tempo without using a metronome.

A dozen a day CD
The accompanied CD is useless. The background music is too loud that the melody can't be heard clearly.
