Auch als Lehrer war er bedeutend und unterrichtete am 1795 gegründeten Conservatoire in Paris. 1794 veröffentlichte er seine "Nouvelle Méthode théorique et pratique pour la flûte", aus der die 18 Duette entnommen sind.
