I have always liked this song very much. It's moody and lyrical. I found the lead sheet in a Hal Leonard collection, and was blown away by the guitar arrangement, so I pretty much left that alone except for some minor enhancements, more a matter of preference. The melody line left something to be desired,however. It was clinical and uninteresting, and stacked with 16th notes. I understand that lead sheets are subject to interpretation, but I like to think that they should as closely approach the creator's intent as possible. I hope that I have done him justice. I try to make my arrangements immediately portable to the studio without changes. I hope that you enjoy this.
