“When I Fall in Love” is a classic standard written by Victor Young and Edward Heyman. It was introduced in the 1952 film One Minute to Zero and quickly became widely recorded, It was also later featured in the film “Sleepless In Seattle”. It became a jazz and pop standard because of its simple melody, elegant lyrics, and emotional restraint. Nat King Cole’s version is especially well known, and Natalie Cole later won Grammys for a 1996 duet built around her father’s recording.
