All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position centered around middle C and then played one octave higher. The PRIMO can also be played as a solo when played as written. Lyrics are included on the PRIMO for sing-along enjoyment.
The idea of angels singing can be inferred from Bible verses such as Job 38:7: "When the morning stars sang together. . ." Most Bible scholars agree that the "stars" refer to angels. We are also told that God sings: "Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save . . . He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 WEB. The lyrics for the song (adapted by Sharon Wilson) envision hearing the angels sing, bringing messages of God's love for us.
