One of the epic 'synth' compositions from side 2 of 'Low', Bowie's highly experimental project with Brian Eno. I was fascinated to see if it was possible to make this a vocal piece, there are lots of voices on the original but this version condenses it down to TTBB (split) Tenor solo and piano. The voices use different vowel sounds to give an effect of different layers of sound. At 6 minutes in length it is a challenge for ensemble, tuning and counting!
