Waltzing Down Under was written as a nostalgic piece where the composer reminisces over many outings with her Nana to the parks that had carousels that played similar styles of music. Written in ternary form, The piece, opens with a cello solo in the minor key followed by a change to the major key played by both clarinets in the B section. There is a brief transition before the A section returns to complete the piece. Individual parts are available.
